Our Mission -
Our mission is quite simple.
We intend to be instrumental in achieving four key goals:
- To position your bank as a respected leader of innovative solutions for the current foreclosure crisis.
- Negotiate favorable terms, whenever possible, to keep the property owner in their home, thereby avoiding an unnecessary foreclosure.
- Keep the property owners engaged in the process by providing guidance and counseling services to the distressed property owners, often paralyzed by the trauma of an eminent foreclosure or bankruptcy.
- Provide “strategic solutions” that benefit the lender and the property owner mutually.
- Protect the property owners and lenders against adversarial, self-indulging investors.
Our Executive Team -
Mark C. Hughes - President and CEO
Virtuosity Realty, LLC and FUN 1031™ were founded by Mark C. Hughes, a licensed  real estate broker in Oregon, Washington, and California. Mr. Hughes has spent the last 30 years assisting clients with the acquisition of real estate as a viable retirement strategy. He has experienced the fluctuations in the real estate market and understands the significance of the cycles in real estate, as evidenced in the early 1980’s, the mid 1990’s, and again now, in 2007.
As early as 2005, Mr. Hughes warned buyers, builders, and lenders of the inevitable down-turn but his cautionary words fell on deaf ears. At this same time, Tully Alford, a veteran mortgage banker and financial analyst, with twenty plus years in the industry, was sharing the same point of view. They agreed there would be a sudden, almost immediate, explosion of foreclosures and an epidemic of “short sale sharks” that would feed on the distressed property owners and lending institutions. This “feeding frenzy” would only disable the economy and weaken the real estate industry more.
It became clear that there was a need for a legitimate company to offer services as an advocate for the banks working similarly as “independent workout or disposition specialists”. These consulting services would provide innovative solutions to keep the distressed property owners in their homes and fewer REO properties on the books of the lending institutions.
Michael Jarman - COO
He is a 15 year mortgage professional and has worked for large institutional lenders such as Washington Mutual, Chase Manhattan, and Guaranty Bank. Michael has eight years experience as an independent mortgage broker. He has an established track record of building and managing mortgage companies that went from a concept to full operations with over 18 brokers in less than 12 months, to becoming one of Portland’s top producing brokers.
Michael's experience will be instrumental in managing the growth of Virtuosity Unlimited, LLC as consultants providing a wide array of services to major lending institutions but for the benefit of their distressed customers, falling short on their payments.
Tully Alford - Executive Vice President
Tully Alford brings over 20 years experience as a mortgage banker, most recently with Bank of America and
Umpqua Bank, and vast expertise as a financial analyst.
His background covers residential, commercial, construction, and consumer lending as well as knowledge in collections and loan workouts. His technical understanding of real estate
cycles gives him an unparalleled view of what is going on in the market today.
